TRADITIONALPORTUGUESE COTTAGE - SÃO BRAS
My husband has restored a lovely one bedroom cottage in a small village 1.5km from São Bras. The cottage is on one level (ground floor) and consists a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with a south facing terrace across the front of the cottage overlooking trees of olive, almond, bay, fig, nispero and pomegranite. It is along a lane with 5 other houses that is a cul-de-sac. The neighbours are Portuguese and there is a restaurant further up the hill and another at the bottom of the lane and you can walk to either of them in under 5 minutes.
São Bras is a large village/town with a wealth of restaurants and I have arranged with the friendly, helpful taxi drivers to take you to any of the restaurants for a flat rate of €10 return.
This is a wonderful place for a quiet, romantic break with lots of places to walk and some beautiful views - with the sea in the distance as São Bras is only 18km from the coast. If you do not want to hire a car, there is a regular bus service to Faro where you can take buses or trains and visit the rest of the Algarve.
My husband is decorating another cottage (for us to live in) which is nearby and he will be on hand most of the time if you have any questions and I am there too sometimes and will take pleasure in giving you advice and recommendations ... but we will never intrude!

The villa is at the end of a row of 8 terraced houses and because it is at the end, it has a paved garden to the front, back and side so you can follow the sun throughout the day ... or avoid it!!
It has a double bedroom and a twin bedroom (the beds can be put together) with a bathroom on the first floor. On the ground floor you will find a kitchen, a shower room and a large living/dining room with a sofa bed.
These houses and another 4, share a large swimming pool with a child pool area and the pool is only available to these houses.
The villa is located about 10 minutes walk from the Marina and all the restaurants and nightlife and just a few minutes further you will find the beaches of Vilamoura. There are also several other restaurants within a few minutes walk of the villa. The Marina has many little shops, restaurants and bars and there are also several boat trips available including rock and cave tours and game fishing.

If you are thinking of hiring a car, ask me for a good contact, not only are the prices extremely competitive but when possible, he will give Guests of the Tivoli an upgrade of car type. You can collect the car at the airport or have it delivered to the Tivoli and you can return the car to the airport or have it collected at the Tivoli. I do not receive commission nor is there any agency commission to pay!

The Tivoli Guest House, Faro, Algarve is superbly situated opposite a pretty Praça, we are only a 10 minute walk from the Train Station and a 7 minute walk from the Bus Station. We are the closest Guest House to the free car park in Faro. The Tivoli is in a perfect location, not only are we close to the attractions of Faro but within a 1 minute walk you will find a cashpoint, two Minimarkets, 5 cafés, within a 4 minute walk you will find 4 really good restaurants that we personally recommend (and many more) and a minute away is the new licenced Bowling Alley with a snooker hall, darts and an internet cafe which is open through the afternoon and evening. And, if you want a break from the sunshine, within 5 minutes walk you will find a new cinema.
