And follow us at https://twitter.com/Sally_Faro

And don't forget the longer you stay, the lower the price - just ask me for a quote.

We now have our winter prices which are fixed until 31st May 2015  We do not raise our prices for events, half term holidays, Christmas or Easter, they will remain the same.  If you are thinking of having a holiday in the autumn, we have events coming up ... and discounts:

If you are looking for a self catering holiday, please look below.  You can book direct with me and there are no agency or booking fees:

My husband has restored a lovely one bedroom cottage in a small village 1.5km from São Bras.  The cottage is on one level (ground floor) and consists a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with a south facing terrace across the front of the cottage overlooking trees of olive, almond, bay, fig, nispero and pomegranite.  It is along a lane with 5 other houses that is a cul-de-sac.  The neighbours are Portuguese and there is a restaurant further up the hill and another at the bottom of the lane and you can walk to either of them in under 5 minutes.

São Bras is a large village/town with a wealth of restaurants and I have arranged with the friendly, helpful taxi drivers to take you to any of the restaurants for a flat rate of €10 return.

This is a wonderful place for a quiet, romantic break with lots of places to walk and some beautiful views - with the sea in the distance as São Bras is only 18km from the coast.  If you do not want to hire a car, there is a regular bus service to Faro where you can take buses or trains and visit the rest of the Algarve.

My husband is decorating another cottage (for us to live in) which is nearby and he will be on hand most of the time if you have any questions and I am there too sometimes and will take pleasure in giving you advice and recommendations ... but we will never intrude!

We offer our Guests a friendly welcome in comfortable, romantic bedrooms in our delightful, bright and traditional house.

The Guest House is a charming building in the centre of historical Faro and its attractions - surrounded by street cafés and restaurants and we will tell you the best places to eat for a true taste of Portugal - you can even eat a great meal for under €5.  I have also set up discounts for my Guests at some bars and cafes.

We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and are complemented regularly on this.

Located within minutes of the Old Walled City with the Se Cathedral, Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Ó, the Episcopal Palace, Episcopal Seminary and Archaeological Museum.  Visit any of the many chapels and churches including the macabre and interesting Chapel of Bones within Igreja do Carmo.  Take a relaxing stroll along cobbled streets to the nearby Marina and see the storks nesting on the lampposts, chimneys and rooftops.  Try the Portuguese cuisine and fresh fish dishes available in the many bars and restaurants surrounding us,
We are a minute away from the exciting and cosmopolitan pedestrian shopping area with goods at prices to suit all.  You can drive or take a bus to Ilha de Faro or take a ferry nearby to Ilha Barreta also known as Ilha Deserta with no cars or houses ... total paradise or visit the Ilha de Farol with its cute houses and well priced beach bars and restaurants.  There are many other activities available and our friendly staff will do their best to advise you and the informative and helpful Tourist Information Centre is just 3 minutes walk from here.

We welcome the best Guests!

We are in a perfect location, not only are we close to the attractions of Faro but within a 1 minute walk you will find a cashpoint, two Minimarkets, 5 cafés, within a 4 minute walk you will find really good restaurants that we personally recommend and a minute away is the licenced Bowling Alley with a snooker hall, darts and an internet cafe which is open from late afternoon.  And, if you want a break from the sunshine, there are several churches and chapels amd museums to visit or just wander the streets taking in the architecture.  Or maybe shop or window shop in the commercial area of Faro or at the shopping centre on the outskirts of Faro.
