The Tivoli Guest House, Faro, Algarve is superbly situated opposite a pretty Praça, we are only a 10 minute walk from the Train Station and a 7 minute walk from the Bus Station. We are the closest Guest House to the free car park in Faro. Surrounded by cobbled streets, beautiful architecture and only 5 minutes walk from the Old City surrounded by a 13th Century wall and the Marina, and the pedestrianised shopping area. The Tivoli is a charming building in the centre of historical Faro and its attractions - surrounded by street cafés and restaurants and we will tell you the best places to eat for a true taste of Portugal and in some of our favourite restaurants you will receive a free after dinner drink as Guests of the Tivoli.

Located within minutes of the Old Walled City with the Se Cathedral, Chapel of Nossa Senhora do Ó, the Episcopal Palace, Episcopal Seminary and Archaeological Museum. Visit any of the many chapels and churches including the macabre and interesting Chapel of Bones within Igreja do Carmo. Take a relaxing stroll along cobbled streets to the nearby Marina and see the storks nesting on the lampposts, chimneys and rooftops. Try the Portuguese cuisine and fresh fish dishes available in the many bars and restaurants surrounding the Tivoli.
We are a minute away from the exciting and cosmopolitan pedestrian shopping area with goods at prices to suit all. You can drive or take a bus to Ilha de Faro or take a ferry nearby to Ilha Barreta also known as Ilha Deserta with no cars or houses ... total paradise or visit the Ilha de Farol with its cute houses and well priced beach bars and restaurants. There are many other activities available and our friendly staff will do their best to advise you and the informative and helpful Tourist Information Centre is just 3 minutes walk from here.

The Tivoli is in a perfect location, not only are we close to the attractions of Faro but within a 1 minute walk you will find a cashpoint, two Minimarkets, 5 cafés, within a 4 minute walk you will find 4 really good restaurants that we personally recommend (and many more) and a minute away is the new licenced Bowling Alley with a snooker hall, darts and an internet cafe which is open through the afternoon and evening. And, if you want a break from the sunshine, within 5 minutes walk you will find a new cinema.
The competion is now closed and the draw will be made on 1st July and announced on 2nd July. This is because people have made enquiries and I am waiting for their confirmation and deposits - this allows them a fair amount of time.
The competition was for anyone who made a reservation at the Tivoli through this website for 3 nights or more, they were entered into a free draw to win a weeks accommodation for 2 in a standard double or twin bedroom at the Tivoli.
The prize is to be taken any time before the end of 2010 (except during August) and, of course is subject to availability. The prize can be passed on to family or close friends if you are unable to take up the prize yourself.
