We have been host to several large groups over the years - when the Orchestra of the University of Malmo Sweden were performing in Faro, we were full to the brim with Orchestra members and their instruments, also when there was a student band competition in Faro, we were full with the students. We have also hosted a large group of Architects from Lisboa; and several student groups from different countries.

If the Group is around 20 people, it is possible to charter a yacht at a very reasonable price for the day and choose the route and plan a personalised trip - to the deep seas to watch the dolphins and then near to the coastline to visit the spectacular rock formations, caves and grottoes and to visit a beach which can only be reached by boat to swim and relax.
With our year round favourable climate, why not visit Faro when flights are cheaper and enjoy the beauty of the Algarve without collapsing from heat exhaustion!!!

January Skies
See the Algarve in Spring, with its colourful flowers and lush green countryside, if you are feeling energetic, you could take one of the many “Algarve Walking Trails” and see the local plants and wildlife. It is far too hot to do this in July or August.
Walk for kilometres on most of the beaches and see no-one - you could possibly have Ilha Deserta entirely to yourselves.
A spring afternoon on the Ilha Deserta - it was a little cloudy but not cold ... and we cannot have sunshine every day!
Hire a car at a cheaper off season rate and discover the secrets of the Algarve with its green rolling hills, the beautiful hillside villages and historical places. Visit the Monchique with far-reaching clear views without the summer haze - you can see the sea to the south and to the west. It is even possible to make a day trip to Lisbon.
Why not do your Christmas Shopping somewhere warm, without wearing a coat (not walking into hot shops and then out onto cold streets!!). Faro is particularly beautiful at Christmas time and in many areas you will find the streets laid with red carpets.
Or come over for a sunny Christmas and/or New Year in a festive and beautiful, romantically illuminated Faro and enjoy the fantastic New Year firework display in the nearby São Francisco car park.

Base yourself in Faro for 4 weeks and visit each area of the Algarve to find your perfect location. Once you have found your location you can view properties at leisure, either let the Agent show you or hire a car and investigate yourself. In Faro whether you are in a shop, restaurant or bar, the locals are so friendly and helpful that you could find out much more about the region than you will from an Agent!

If you are looking for somewhere different for your Hen or Stag weekend, why not consider Faro! We cannot compete with Ayia Napa, Ibiza, Rimini or Mykonos but we would not want to. Here in Faro you could have a civilised meal in one of our recommended restaurants, followed by a night at a disco or in one (or several) of the local bars and mix with the locals.
Combine shopping with the beach!! We have a good range of shops here in Faro and on the outskirts of Faro is a large shopping centre - The Forum. Or take a 40 minute bus journey to the huge centre of Algarve Shopping.
Faro is a very romantic City. The quaint cobbled streets, palm trees, small squares and the picturesque walled city - especially when it is floodlit at night all point to romance.
